Yara
​
is Savina Scattaglia from Venezuela, based in Barcelona, Spain. She rose to the decks of her country in the late 1990s, where she began rocking small parties with her original compositions performed live with hardware synths together with Darkohm. 

Since March 2007 Savina has her solo project under the name Yara. She brings a mystic flavour to her full-power dark sounds. 

Since releasing "Shedu" (co-produced with partner Malkaviam) on Hybrid Evolution in 2010, Yara has given solid foundation to our releases, providing 3 tracks on our 2011 Louves (She-Wolves) compilation and the booming "Superstition" on 2013's DBL CD, What is Life / Life is Life.
